Enjoy the limited edition Somen and Soba Set, made in collaboration with Honke Owariya, a confectionery turned soba shop with a history of 557 years.
Cool down from the heat with an easy, light, and simple meal. Stir the noodles in a bowl of ice water and delight in cold noodles paired with the dashi soup stock and refreshing condiments such as sesame, seaweed, spring onion, and more. Conclude the meal with a sweet summery staple - the Mizu Yokan, Japanese red bean jelly confectionery.
Serve this seasonal meal from the main dish to dessert in our 6-piece Oryoki bowl, handcrafted by a woodworker, Hiromichi Nakade. Complete the set with our Wooden Chopsticks and Hashioki (chopsticks rest).

About Honke Owariya
Established in 1465, Honke Owariya is the oldest restaurant in Japan. Sourcing high-quality ingredients from all over Japan, from the kelp to the local groundwater, their buckwheat noodles and sweets have been enjoyed by the imperial family, monks, shoguns, locals, and tourists for over five centuries.
