Kyo-Kanaami is a Kyoto-specific style of woven metal. It has a history going back to the Heian period, over 1000 years ago. It marries durable metal with a delicate aesthetic, resulting in a timeless piece that will accompany you for years.
Made by the storied Kanaami Tsuji workshop, this small dish features oxidized copper in a chrysanthemum pattern. Use it as a coaster for your favorite cups or a small dish for serving dry snacks. You will receive two coasters in your set.
