Orin Mini - Octagon
Orin, or Japanese singing bowls, are used in grand temples and home altars alike. Their pure tone and lingering sound are said to connect users with the Buddha, purify space, and banish evil.
This series is right-sized to be a meditation and focus aid. Their small size makes them highly portable and visually charming, but their sound is strong and resonant.
The family behind this collection has been making Orin for 170 years. Each Orin’s sound is entirely unique due to variations in the process, which involves 180 steps.
This Orin rests on a wooden octagonal base, which in Buddhist symbology represents luck and completion, warding off negative energy.
