The father and son team behind our popular noren and tapestry collection use traditional methods of indigo and sumi ink dyeing to create beautiful works that hang in homes around the world. The father, Kiyoe Masau, is a self-taught, first-generation indigo artisan. His son, Kiyoe Junichi, uses stenciled dyeing techniques with soot-based ink pigments.
