With an elegant and sharp design, this tea set brings a modern touch to your tea ritual. The natural and black teapots are unglazed, exposing the warmth of the clay. Over time and use, they will develop a slight gloss, allowing you to enjoy various surfaces.
The unglazed interior of the teapot and the use of iron-rich clay also alleviate the astringency of green tea. The teapot also has a strainer to prevent the tea leaves from entering your cup. Pair it with our selection of teas.

DETAILS
150ml teapot: This small teapot, which fits in the palm of your hands, is perfect for those who like to drink tea on their own or to share with another in small cups.
320ml teapot: The shallow and wide shape of the teapot leaves ample room for green tea to steep and develop its flavors, making it suitable for our green tea. It is the ideal size to brew tea for up to 4 people.
550ml teapot: This teapot is the largest out of the series and is suitable for all kinds of teas, including our roasted teas, black teas, or green teas.
ABOUT THE ARTISAN
The teapots are handmade by a family-run business established four generations ago in Mie Prefecture. Entering the business as clay makers and sellers in 1913, the family has deep knowledge of the soil of the local area and how to develop it into clay that is most suitable for pottery. In 1972, they branched out into making teapots of their own.
