Iron Table Vase
The delicacy of iron work in this free-standing table vase counterbalances itself for a play of dimensionality.
The iron stand is interchangeable with a brass vase that you can use for wildflowers or a sprig of greenery, and an iron plate that you can use with incense.
Place it on any surface for a subtle but eye-catching piece of decor. The vase offers a minimal form that still adds character to any room.
Through the artisan's hands, the negative qualities often associated with metal are transformed: hardness becomes softness, coldness becomes warmth. The weight and solidity of metal are transformed into something delicate and refined.
Materials: Iron, brass, iron rust, linseed oil finish.
Dimensions
cm: H34 × W13 × D10
inch: H13.4 × W5.1 × D3.9
Care Instructions
The frame and iron parts are rust-treated, however, if small amounts of rust occur and stick to your hands, you can wipe it off with a dry cloth.
If you want to use incense with the iron plate, be sure to put an inflammable mat between the burning incense and the plate. Compatible with incense types like uzumaki (swirl). Take care to avoid touching the burning ember to the iron.
The brass vase will naturally develop a patina over time with exposure to air and water. This is normal. If you prefer to revert it to its original color, use a commercial brass cleaner on the outside of the vase.
